Dr David G. Duckworth

Dr Duckworth is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in shoulder and elbow surgery.

Dr Duckworth attended the Kings school in Parramatta and graduated in 1981. He studied medicine at the University of New South Wales in Sydney from 1982-86 and graduated in 1986. Dr Duckworth undertook orthopaedic training on the Sydney orthopaedic training programme and obtained his surgical fellowship, FRACS (Orth), in 1996. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow surgery with Professor F. A. Matsen III at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA in 1996-97. Dr Duckworth commenced his practice in 1998 and has current appointments at The Hills Private hospital, Baulkham Hills, the Sydney Adventist hospital, Wahroonga and Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital. He is in private practice with rooms in Parramatta, Wahroonga and Norwest.

Dr Duckworth has a particular interest in shoulder and elbow arthroplasty (replacement) surgery, the treatment of clavicle fractures, shoulder and elbow trauma, the treatment of radial head fractures and arthroscopic surgery.
